Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated, motivated and reliable person interested or experienced as an Arborist/Groundie/Tree trimming/Landscaping work to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about tree care, landscaping, and horticulture to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will provide ground support for the climber and help with roping down limbs, logs and helping clean up the property after the job is done. Prior experience landscape maintenance is a plus, but we welcome eager learners interested in developing their skills in arboriculture. We also do some Landscaping projects from time to time and splitting/delivering firewood. We are a new company that has grown quickly. MUST be able to use hand tools, landscaping power tools, chainsaw and be able to lift 50lbs. MUST have Driver's License, experience with driving a truck with trailer attached is preferred. Interview will be a working interview and pay based of knowledge/skills. Responsibilities Assist with tree care activities including pruning, trimming, felling and planting to promote healthy growth and safety. Support arborists with rigging operations for safe removal or pruning of large trees. Help with landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and general landscape upkeep. Maintain equipment and tools used in tree care and landscaping to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow safety protocols during all operations, including working around heavy machinery and elevated work platforms. Assist with site cleanup and disposal of debris following tree trimming or removal projects. Skills Experience or interest in tree care, tree trimming, horticulture, or landscape maintenance. Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe tree removal or pruning operations. Growing experience in horticulture or landscaping is desirable. Strong physical stamina with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Willingness to learn new skills related to arboriculture, landscaping, and land management practices. This position offers valuable hands-on experience for those interested in advancing their career in arboriculture, landscaping, or horticulture within a professional team dedicated to environmental stewardship and aesthetic excellence.
Pay:
$15.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 45.0 per week
