Job Overview Liberty Tree & Landscape Management is looking for a skilled, safety-focused Tree Climber / Arborist to join our team. This role includes advanced tree work, technical removals, pruning, rigging, and ground support on residential and commercial properties. The right candidate is a skilled climber who works safely, communicates well, and is willing to support the crew wherever needed.

Responsibilities:

Perform pruning, removals, crown thinning, reductions, and other aerial tree work Use modern climbing systems (SRT/SRS, DdRT) and safe rigging techniques Operate chainsaws safely while working in the canopy Set up rigging, manage ropes, drop zones, and debris Assist with chipping, loading, and job site cleanup Complete safety checks, job planning, and follow

ANSI Z133

standards Maintain climbing gear, equipment, and PPE Identify tree hazards and recommend proper solutions

Qualifications:

2+ years of professional tree climbing experience Strong knowledge of climbing systems, knots, and rigging Ability to safely work at heights and lift 50+ lbs Valid driver's license preferred ISA Certified Arborist a plus
