Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Climber and become a vital part of maintaining healthy, beautiful, and safe urban and rural landscapes. In this energetic role, you will ascend into the canopy to perform tree care, trimming, and pruning tasks with precision and safety. Your expertise will help preserve the environment, enhance property aesthetics, and ensure public safety. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in arboriculture while working outdoors in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to access high branches for pruning, trimming, or removal Perform tree care activities including trimming, shaping, and health assessments to promote growth and prevent hazards Assist with rigging operations to carefully lower large branches or tree sections during removal or maintenance Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care and general landscaping to support overall site aesthetics Support land management projects by applying horticultural knowledge to enhance plant health and landscape vitality Skills Proven experience in tree climbing, pruning, and general tree care practices Strong knowledge of rigging techniques for safe removal of large branches or trees Ability to operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts safely and efficiently Basic understanding of horticulture principles related to tree growth and landscape health Experience with landscaping, lawn care, or landscape maintenance is a plus Growing experience or background in arboriculture or horticulture preferred but not required Join us if you're passionate about working outdoors, eager to develop your skills in tree care and landscaping, and ready to take on a physically active role that makes a real difference.
