Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Experienced Tree Climber to join our team. In this role, you will perform challenging tree care tasks, including pruning, trimming, and removal, utilizing advanced arborist rigging techniques and specialized equipment. Your expertise in climbing and safety protocols will ensure the health of trees and safety of all team members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in diverse environments, applying your growing experience to enhance urban and natural landscapes. Responsibilities Safely climb trees using industry-standard techniques to perform pruning, trimming, and removal operations. Operate bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment to access high branches efficiently and securely. Execute rigging procedures for complex tree removals, ensuring stability and safety throughout each project. Use chainsaws and other hand tools to cut branches and sections of trees with precision. Apply arborist rigging techniques to dismantle large or hazardous trees safely. Conduct plant pruning care to promote healthy growth and maintain landscape aesthetics. Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor work activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Experience Proven experience in tree climbing, tree removal, and landscape maintenance with a focus on safety and efficiency. Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other tree care equipment. Knowledge of arborist rigging techniques, horticulture principles, dendrology (study of trees), and general landscaping practices. Demonstrated ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards. Growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance is preferred; certification in arboriculture or related fields is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to tree care operations and equipment handling.
