Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a wide range of Horticultural care and landscape maintenance tasks to ensure our clients' properties are vibrant, healthy, and visually appealing. Whether working on plantings, indoor and outdoor plantscapes, you'll be an essential part of transforming outdoor environments into stunning landscapes. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in gardening, tree care, interior and exterior plant care and the use of various hand and power tools. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation projects including planting trees, shrubs, flowers ect. Perform routine lawn care activities like planting shrubs and trees, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to keep lawns and plants healthy and attractive Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning trees and shrubs, weed control, mulching, and soil preparation Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers, saws) safely and efficiently Support excavation activities using equipment like excavators for larger landscaping projects Helping carry up to 50lbs of plants, trees and material on job site. Support general construction tasks related to hardscape or garden features as needed Follow safety protocols consistently while handling equipment such as land clearing machinery or tree trimming tools Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools effectively Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Knowledge of landscaping principles including horticulture practices and plant care is a plus Experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction or landscaping projects Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards Join us in creating inspiring outdoor spaces!
