The Arborist Climber will join a skilled Tree Work Crew, taking on challenging and rewarding projects that require expertise in tree care and a dedication to high safety standards. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, value continuous learning, and thrive in a collaborative setting. Responsibilities Lead and work as part of a crew to complete assigned tree care tasks safely and efficiently Perform a variety of arboriculture activities, including tree diagnosis, climbing, pruning, removal, stump grinding, and preservation techniques Install tree support systems such as cabling, bracing, tying, bolting, staking, and guying Supervise and train crew members in proper tree trimming and safety procedures Collect and manage debris from tree trimming and removal operations, ensuring a clean and safe work zone Trim, limb, prune, and shape trees and shrubs according to industry best practices Participate in the maintenance of gear, tools, and equipment both in the field and at the shop Consistently adhere to ANSI and ArborScape safety guidelines Qualifications Minimum of 2 year of experience in arboriculture or related field Experience operating and maintaining specialized equipment such as chippers, stump grinders, and chainsaws Proficiency in knot tying and safe rigging techniques Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Commitment to ongoing skill development and professional growth Valid drivers license; CDL is a plus Desire to maintain certifications and accreditations in the field Compensation $24 - $29 per hour , depending on experience. Overtime opportunities available.
