Artistic Treeworks , an established and respected tree-care company serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding communities since 1984, is looking for an experienced ISA Certified Arborist to join our team as an Operations Manager / Estimator . This is a key position for someone who enjoys working with people, evaluating trees, developing practical solutions, preparing estimates, and helping a professional tree-care company operate safely and efficiently. We are looking for an experienced arborist who is ready to take the next step in their career and have a meaningful role in the day-to-day operation of an established company. What You Will Do Arborist Estimating & Client Relations Meet with residential, commercial, and property-management customers to evaluate trees and discuss their needs. Perform professional tree assessments and recommend appropriate pruning, removal, treatment, cabling/bracing, or other tree-care services. Prepare accurate estimates and written proposals. Explain recommendations clearly to customers and answer questions about tree health, safety, and maintenance. Build long-term relationships with customers and represent Artistic Treeworks professionally in the community. Operations Management Help plan and coordinate daily production activities and crew schedules. Work closely with crew leaders to ensure jobs are properly planned, staffed, equipped, and completed according to company standards. Monitor job progress, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. Help identify scheduling or production problems before they become larger issues. Coordinate with office and field personnel to keep work moving efficiently. Assist with improving procedures and systems as the company continues to grow. Leadership & Employee Development Provide direction and support to crew leaders and field employees. Help establish clear expectations for quality, productivity, professionalism, and customer service. Mentor less-experienced arborists and crew members. Encourage continued education, professional development, and advancement within the tree-care industry. Participate in employee training and safety meetings. Safety & Professional Standards Promote a strong safety culture throughout the company. Participate in job-site hazard assessments and help ensure crews follow company safety procedures and applicable industry standards. Help maintain compliance with applicable

tree-care safety practices. Lead by example in safe work practices and professional arboricultural standards.

What We're Looking For Required:

ISA Certified Arborist Significant professional experience in commercial tree care and arboriculture Strong knowledge of tree biology, pruning practices, tree risk, removals, and common tree health problems Excellent communication and customer-service skills Ability to accurately evaluate tree-care needs and develop practical recommendations Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to lead and work effectively with a diverse field team Valid driver's license and a good driving record

Strongly Preferred:

ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification ( TRAQ ) Certified Treecare Safety Professional ( CTSP ) Experience with estimating and selling tree-care services Experience supervising crews or managing tree-care operations Experience with residential and commercial tree-care customers Knowledge of local tree species and growing conditions in Eastern Washington A Different Kind of Arborist Position This position is not simply a salesperson position , and it is not a desk job. We need someone who understands trees and the realities of professional tree work and can use that experience to make good decisions, communicate with customers, support our crews, and help manage the operation. You should be comfortable spending time in the field, visiting jobsites, evaluating trees, talking with crews, and interacting with customers. Climbing and performing strenuous production work will not be the primary function of this position , but a strong understanding of climbing, rigging, removals, pruning, and other tree-care operations is important.
