Job Description
Ranger Services, Inc is looking for a self-disciplined, personable, professional Arborist to join our team.
Arborist responsibilities include:
- Tree and shrub pruning, plantings, and removals
- Tree climbing and ground work
- Insect and disease diagnosis
- Surveying landscapes and making recommendations based on best practices for plant needs
- Sales and customer service / account management General requirements:
- A solid foundation of plant/tree knowledge (identification, diagnostic evaluation, and planting/care/maintenance techniques)
- A 2-year or 4-year degree in Urban Forestry or Arboriculture and at least 2 years of experience
- Ability to establish good communication and resolve customer concerns
- Ability to work confidently as part of a team or independently
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to be flexible with changes in job scheduling
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Wisconsin state pesticide applicator 3.
