Job Description

Ranger Services, Inc is looking for a self-disciplined, personable, professional Arborist to join our team.
Arborist responsibilities include:
  • Tree and shrub pruning, plantings, and removals
  • Tree climbing and ground work
  • Insect and disease diagnosis
  • Surveying landscapes and making recommendations based on best practices for plant needs
  • Sales and customer service / account management General requirements:
  • A solid foundation of plant/tree knowledge (identification, diagnostic evaluation, and planting/care/maintenance techniques)
  • A 2-year or 4-year degree in Urban Forestry or Arboriculture and at least 2 years of experience
  • Ability to establish good communication and resolve customer concerns
  • Ability to work confidently as part of a team or independently
  • Good time-management skills
  • Ability to be flexible with changes in job scheduling
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Wisconsin state pesticide applicator 3.
0 certification (preferred)
