Thirdstate is a family owned cannabis cultivation located in Two Rivers, Alaska. We are dedicated to growing high-quality cannabis and ensuring our plants are thriving . As a locally owned establishment, we take pride in ensuring our growers are happy as well.

Position Summary:

We are seeking motivated, hard working, garden enthusiasts to join our team at Thirdstate. Growers will be responsible for maintaining plants, keeping a clean environment, harvesting, and following all state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Watering:

Making sure all plants are watered correctly around the facility. This includes checking individual plants for an even watering.

Product Knowledge:

Becoming familiar with our strains and how they grow.

Harvesting:

Cutting plants, weighing, and processing.

Plant Maintenance:

Defoliating, toping, and basic plant care.

Compliance:

Ensure strict compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations.

Inventory Management:

Ensuring all plants and plant products are correctly labeled and accounted for.

Cleanliness and Organization:

Keeping the farm clean and organized to ensure an efficient work space and happy plants.

Team Collaboration:

At Thirdstate we thrive to work as a team and ensure everyone follows suit with our processes.

Continuing Education:

We encourage all growers to expand knowledge in the cannabis industry.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age. MUST have AMCO Marijuana Handlers Permit. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in gardening and plant work preferred. Knowledge of cannabis strains is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have transportation Reliable and punctual.

Working Conditions:

This position may require standing for extended periods. Weekend and evening shifts may be required. Exposure to cannabis and cannabis-related products is common. Thirdstat is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applicants of all backgrounds to apply.
