Irrigation Technician Landscape Irrigation Technician Job Description:

Layout and install new irrigation systems. Make additions to and enhance existing irrigation systems. Troubleshoots irrigation systems to determine repairs needed. Evaluate and test irrigation systems for proper functioning. Start up and winterize irrigation systems according to seasonal priorities or pre-established schedules.

Landscape Irrigation Technician Skills/Qualifications:

2-year experience working on commercial and residential landscape irrigation crews Proficient on Installing, Scheduling and programming Irrigation controllers. Able to trouble shoot valve issues and make repairs to irrigation systems. Have a general knowledge of landscape and horticultural hydration needs. Ability to organize and manage time spent on irrigation job sites and projects. Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs. and working in adverse (hot, cold, wet) conditions. This position reports on site to our location in Pelham, AL. This position will report and work under the direction of Supervisor on various job sites throughout the Birmingham area. Typical hours are 6:20 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday - Thursday. These are adjusted based on the time of the year and scheduling of jobs. Valid driver's license is required. Driving Record will be checked, a clean Driving Record is required. Candidate must have a personal vehicle; reliable transportation is required. It is required that all Team Members must undergo a Full Drug Screen and Criminal Background Checks in accordance with local laws and regulations.
