Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description

Keith Smith Company, Inc. is seeking a dependable, experienced Farm Hand to join our cattle farming operation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cattle and be comfortable operating tractors and hay equipment. This position requires someone who enjoys working outdoors, is reliable, and takes pride in maintaining a productive farming operation. Responsibilities
  • Care for and work with cattle.
  • Operate tractors and farm equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Cut, rake, bale, and move hay.
  • Feed livestock and assist with general herd management.
  • Repair and maintain fences, gates, and farm facilities.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tractors and farm equipment.
  • Assist with other farm duties as needed. Qualifications
  • Previous experience working on a cattle farm.
  • Experience operating tractors and hay equipment is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
