Job Description
Job Overview:
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO GET YOUR FA CARD IN A TIMELY MANNER.
This is an entry level position, starting at $16/hr. (Monday- Friday) ($17/hr if you work weekend schedule) Weekends may be required!
AZ STATE ISSUED FA CARD IS REQUIRED.
In order to get a FA CARD you must have an AZ ID or Passport, be over the age of 21, pass a 10 year background check. We are seeking a dedicatedASSISTANT
Grower to join our team. As an assistant Grower, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining plants in our greenhouse growing areas. This is a hands-on role that requires basic knowledge of horticulture and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for growing plants and want to contribute to our mission of providing high-quality product, we encourage you to apply.Duties:
- Monitor plant growth and health, making adjustments as needed
- Irrigate plants using appropriate watering techniques
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, or other treatments as necessary
- Prune and trim plants to promote healthy growth
- Harvest crops at the optimal time for maximum yield and quality
- Maintain accurate records of plant growth, yields, and other data
- Clean and maintain growing areas, including greenhouse
- Assist with record keeping
Requirements:
- FA card issued by the state of AZ (ADHS)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measuring and mixing fertilizers or other treatments
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or extended periods of standing or bending
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A state issued FA CARD is required , We can help guide you through that process
