The Farm at South Mountain, one of Arizona's most beautiful destinations is hiring a Lead Grower to join our award-winning team! The Farm is a unique and vibrant property and we are looking for a candidate that has the same qualities. Our Grower should possess the following attributes: A cultural match (passionate, caring, people-focused and top-line driven) Models hospitality and delivers service excellence Professional image and demeanor Holds peers and staff accountable to expected results Primary Objectives Farm Grower will oversee the Garden's , planning, harvesting, delivery and distribution of Garden product. Major Areas of Responsibility Continuously maintain good agricultural practices and good handling practices as within the framework the Farm has currently established. Contribute to the delivery of the Farm at South Mountain brand of creating rewarding experience for guests through innovative cuisine, exceptional service and creative presentation. Job Responsibilities Attendance is an essential function of the job. Assist in the chicken coop operation. Assist in ensuring the Garden is organized and clean in all work areas. Assist with consistent irrigation. Comply with and practice safety and sanitation standards. Ensure careful handling of all Garden equipment and property. Report any maintenance issues immediately to Supervisor. Foster a team minded environment. Represent the company to guests, tenants and staff in a positive manner at all times. Responsible for pleasant experience for all guests and visitors. Lead by professional example at all times and promote a respectful work environment. Must be able to lift, pull, carry and push up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. Other physical activity includes but not limited to, standing for long periods of time, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. All other duties as requested by Supervisor.

Hours:

Monday- Friday, either Saturday or Sunday availabilty required. Start time varies with time of year and weather,
