Berridge is an 88 year old family owned and operated retail garden center. Candidate must have retail horticultural experience and knowledge of indoor flowering and tropical plants for customer sales and to assist the greenhouse manager in offloading new plant material, pricing and merchandising the plants. As well, you will be assigned garden areas to water and keep clean by sweeping, hosing off pathways, raking and using cleaners on glazed pottery. Physical strength is needed to work on your feet all day, lift 5 gallon plants and pottery. Candidate must be professional, have a friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop rapport with customers. One week paid vacation after one year of service. Two weeks paid vacation for following years.
