JOB:

Golf Irrigation Technician Full Time -

Rotating Golf Schedule Location:

SOUTH GOLF

COURSE, Sun City

JOB SUMMARY

Maintains, repairs, and rebuilds components of the golf course irrigation system.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

: Records pump readings. Services pump lubrication system. Monitors effectiveness of individual sprinklers. Troubleshoots and overhauls irrigation system components. Determines and maintains adequate irrigation parts supply. Performs daily clean up of work area. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Minimum one year of golf course maintenance Irrigation repair experience preferred Must know the game of golf

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Working knowledge of methods, practices, material and tools used in irrigation repairs. Knowledge of efficient water management. Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor in a variety of weather and working conditions. Working knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics relating to irrigation systems. Ability to lift 50lbs. Some of the
