Pottery Studio Technician (Part-Time, Weekly) Emerald Art Studio - Campbell, CA Emerald Art Studio is a thoughtfully designed creative sanctuary where art, community, and calm come together. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pottery Studio Technician to support the behind-the-scenes operations of our ceramics program. This is a part-time, once-a-week role ideal for someone who enjoys working with clay and values maintaining an organized, beautiful studio environment. Responsibilities Clay & Material Management Reclaim wet and dry clay and prepare it for reuse Maintain proper clay consistency and storage Glaze Preparation Mix glaze batches following studio recipes Organize and maintain glaze inventory and stations Kiln & Equipment Support Clean and scrape kiln shelves Assist with basic kiln upkeep (no firing required unless experienced) Studio Maintenance Empty and maintain sink clay traps Keep pottery areas clean, safe, and organized Maintain shared tools and workspace Qualifications Experience in ceramics or pottery studio preferred (not required) Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Comfortable with hands-on, physical tasks Reliable, self-directed, and consistent Aligned with a calm, respectful studio environment

Job Details Schedule:

~1 day per week (8-10 hours)

Pay:

$22-$26/hour (based on experience)
