Cultivation Technician Wizard Trees Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Agricultural environmental control systems Teamwork Flower planting Vegetation management Attention to detail Water systems Crew management Full Job Description Role Summary The Cultivator is responsible for supporting daily grow operations to maintain healthy, high-quality cannabis across all cultivation rooms. This role ensures irrigation systems, environmental controls, pest management, harvest processes, and general facility maintenance are executed to SOP standards while maintaining organization, cleanliness, and communication with management. Core ResponsibilitiesReservoir & Water System Maintenance Clean reservoir tank filters and perform scheduled internal tank cleanouts. Maintain RO machine filters, VEG filters, and irrigation tanks used for nutrient mixing. Micro-Cool System Maintenance Maintain and troubleshoot the Micro-Cool humidity system. Clean/replace filters and complete scheduled oil changes. Harvest & Room Flip Oversight Lead service crew during harvests and room flips. Delegate cutting tasks. Ensure proper hanging, labeling, and chain-of-custody adherence. Oversee sanitation, filter cleaning, tank cleaning, and line shocking. Pesticide & Beneficial Applications Serve as designated pesticide sprayer. Apply pesticides/beneficials per SOPs and state regulations. Complete required documentation and monthly pesticide reports. Aroya System & Irrigation Monitoring Monitor Arroyo watering graphs and ensure moisture never drops below threshold. Notify management when thresholds are approaching. Take corrective irrigation actions as needed. Environmental Monitoring & Control Monitor GrowLink charts for humidity, temperature, and sensor accuracy. Calibrate and correct environmental variances across rooms. Nutrient Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory of all nutrients. Notify management in advance when replenishment is needed (no runouts). Facility & Equipment Support Perform light plumbing repairs (PVC replacement, leak fixes, pump repairs). Remove/install light fixtures & HPS bulbs. Assist with dehumidifier connections and minor troubleshooting. Cross-Department Support Provide support to irrigation, maintenance, environmental control, and harvest teams to ensure smooth operational flow. Additional Expectations Assist VEG department when delegated by Nick or Liz. Ensure cultivation areas remain organized, compliant, and exceptionally clean. Maintain proactive communication with management regarding: Equipment failures/Delays Room or plant health concerns Any barrier preventing successful completion of duties Professional Standards Adhere to all Wizard Trees SOPs and safety guidelines. Maintain compliance with all state regulations. Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and teamwork. Maintain confidentiality regarding genetics, operations, processes, and internal business.
