JOB DESCRIPTION
- Harvester/Defoliator/Trimmer Responsible for the harvesting, defoliation, trimming, and cleaning of the cultivation facility. On harvest day the team will be responsible for cutting down, weighing, hanging plants, and then sanitizing the room. When not harvesting the team will be removing foliage from plants that are in the middle of a grow cycle. The team will maintain a clean working environment including personal hygiene. The ideal candidate will be willing to perform the following tasks but is not limited to harvesting, defoliating, trimming, mop, scrub, vacuum, and clean growing equipment used by the cultivators. Priority is to harvest and defoliate while maintaining high quality cleanliness standards. Focus on details and communication are necessary attributes. The Harvester/Defoliator will report directly to the site manager.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability needed for this position. Experience is a plus but not mandatory Must possess the ability to multitask in a demanding environment Need to be a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational and communication skills Candidates must be in good physical condition and able to work indoors for extended periods of time if needed Ability to demonstrate high ethical standards and set a positive example for co-workers Good interpersonal communication, able to work well with others, as part of a team Willingness to work nights, holidays and/or weekends - assigned hours will change based on business needs Must be able to tolerate exposure to grow room elements such as heat, humidity & cold Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, 8-12hours Must be able to take initiative and work with minimum supervision Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations Must be able to work on step stools and ladders Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach Must be able to climb up and down steps
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Harvest finished plants Sanitize grow rooms Remove excess vegetation as directed Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times Perform all daily duties on cultivation checklist such as but not limited to; fill foot baths, fill glove holders, fill Tyvek suit rack, fill alcohol bottles, empty/refill Sanidate bucket, clean the dishes, refill paper towel rack, sweep and mop communal area Perform all Weekly duties on cultivation checklist such as but not limited to; fill hand sanitizers, scrub foot baths, restock gloves/alcohol storage Assist staff with daily sanitation and organization of all equipment present within the facility Communicate effectively
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background screening Must sign and adhere to an NDA Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to reliably commute to work
COMPENSATION
Starting pay of $18/hour (plus applicable overtime)
