$28.00-$34.00 per hour About Us We are a well-established residential landscape company known for delivering high-quality work and building long-term relationships with our clients. We are looking for an experienced Senior Irrigation Technician who can work independently, diagnose problems accurately, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is confident in their abilities, communicates professionally, works well with others, and remains open to feedback and continuous learning. Responsibilities Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential irrigation systems. Troubleshoot electrical, valve, pressure, wiring, and controller issues. Perform irrigation startups, winterizations, system upgrades, and water-efficiency improvements. Program, adjust, and optimize irrigation controllers. Read and interpret irrigation plans and system layouts. Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and repair options to clients. Complete work orders, proposals, and estimates accurately and on time. Maintain detailed records of completed work, materials used, and system changes. Create and update irrigation legends and system documentation. Follow all safety procedures and protect client property while performing work. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work vehicle and workspace. Represent the company professionally at all times. Assist with training and mentoring junior irrigation technicians. Collaborate effectively with the team while remaining open to feedback and suggestions. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of residential irrigation experience. Strong knowledge of irrigation components, hydraulics, controllers, wiring, and troubleshooting. Ability to diagnose irrigation issues efficiently and recommend effective solutions. Experience preparing work orders, proposals, and service documentation. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to legally operate a vehicle in the United States. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, or emergency service calls during peak season.
