What they do
A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
Seasonal employment is also an option if you are a snowbird. There is a heated greenhouse and gardening plots if the successful applicant wants to grow some of their food, or even have a productive crop. We have plenty of water for irrigation. We need assistance with the grounds and seasonal irrigation of our fields. There are other ways the successful applicants can help on the farm, from office,housekeeping, woodworking, maintenance, etc. This position would be ideal for a semi retired couple or individual looking for a beautiful place to live in trade and a salary based on skills and hours worked. The ideal candidate(s) will be nonsmoker(s), enjoy living in the country and not be big partiers. They can be employed elsewhere, if they have time for 10 to 15 hrs of work on the farm.
