Farm Hand/Equipment Operator

Job Summary We are seeking full time, reliable farm hands/equipment operators to join our crew as we take on some additional work. Generally 10 hours per day, 5 days per week with some rotating Saturdays and very occasional Sundays during planting/harvest. Duties may include but are not limited to pivot operation/maintenance, spreading manure, strip till, spraying, planting, feed/manure hauling, etc. John Deere and Fendt tractors, Cat loaders, and Kenworth trucks. Experience with John Deere GPS equipment strongly preferred. Pay dependent on experience. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance
• Operate/maintain pivot irrigation systems with both wells and ditch water
• Operate a wide variety of equipment and perform a wide variety of tasks throughout the year
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Skills
• CDL preferred but not required
• JD GPS equipment experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles
• Loader experience preferred but willing to train
• Ability to perform basic repairs/maintenance Benefits
