COMPLIANCE TECHNICIAN

Compliance Technician-Production, Hudson, COOpal Foods is currently accepting applications for the position of Production Compliance Technician at our Hudson Farm location. This position is responsible maintaining compliance standards, as well as helping with various other house hand duties when necessary, while following all company rules and related regulations. Must have excellent work ethic, reliability and punctuality.

Position Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all company humane animal care policies and proceduresMaintain accurate and legible paperworkTake blood and serum samples from live birds in accordance with the regulations and company proceduresAccurately weigh live birds and complete associated reportsService various forms of pest related bait stations and pest trapsService, monitor and maintain fly trapsAccurately swab litter belts in accordance with regulations and company proceduresMaintain all disinfectant foot pans in accordance with regulations and company proceduresOther farm responsibilities as needed such as helping to clean barns, removal of dead birds, etc.

Requirements:

(knowledge, experience, skills, education)Follow all Opal Foods Policies and Procedures including but not limited to Safety, Bio-security, FDA, SQF and GMPMust read and write legibly in EnglishMust demonstrate attention to detailsMust demonstrate good work ethicMust be dependable and be able to work flexible hours any day of the week, including weekends and holidaysRequires walking, standing, turning, twisting, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting up to 20 lbs., pushing, pulling, reaching, manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
