Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Farm Laborer to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this vital role, you will perform a variety of manual and technical tasks to support crop production, livestock care, and farm maintenance. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure the smooth operation of daily farm activities, contributing to the overall success of our farming operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about agriculture, animal husbandry, and outdoor work to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist with planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting crops using farm machinery and manual tools Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Care for livestock including feeding, watering, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring animal health Perform basic repairs and maintenance on farm machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal operation Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy loads, fencing repairs, and equipment setup with safety as a priority Support animal husbandry practices including breeding, grooming, and health checks for various farm animals Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas while adhering to safety standards in production environments Experience Previous experience working on farms or in agricultural settings is highly preferred Familiarity with operating farm machinery such as tractors, power tools, and irrigation systems Knowledge of livestock handling techniques and animal husbandry practices Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance is advantageous Experience with welding, welding safety standards, and basic carpentry or equipment repair skills is a plus Outdoor work experience in varying weather conditions demonstrating resilience and adaptability Basic math skills for measurements, record keeping, and inventory management related to farming activities
Pay:
$23.31 - $28.08 per hour
