This role bridges the gap between the Head Grower's strategic direction and the cultivation staff's daily execution, stepping in to lead the floor, enforce SOPs, and keep production on schedule when the Head Grower is engaged elsewhere. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone ready to grow into a Lead Grower or cultivation management position. Responsibilities & Duties

• Supports the Head Grower in overseeing all phases of cultivation, including propagation, vegetative, flowering, harvest, and post-harvest processing.
• Acts as the point person on the cultivation floor in the Head Grower's absence, directing staff and prioritizing daily tasks.
• Assists in scheduling, training, and supervising cultivation and processing staff.
• Monitors plant health, identifying and escalating pest, disease, or nutrient issues per SOP.
• Supports integrated pest management (IPM) programs, including scouting, application, and record-keeping.
• Assists with environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, light, irrigation, CO2) across cultivation rooms.
• Enforces compliance with SOPs, DCP regulations, and seed-to-sale tracking requirements.
• Assists in maintaining accurate cultivation records, including feeding schedules, IPM logs, and plant counts.
• Supports facility and equipment maintenance logistics, flagging issues to the Head Grower and Production Manager.
• Disposal of plant waste following state regulations, including weighing and recording of waste.
• Cleaning and sanitizing rooms, tools, and equipment according to procedures set by management.
• Compliant with SOPs and state regulations.
• Ensure the work area is kept in a clean and safe condition.
• Actively contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following applicable safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management.
• Acts in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required; degree in horticulture, plant science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of commercial cannabis cultivation experience required.
• Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity preferred.
• Working knowledge of plant pathology, IPM practices, and cultivation best practices.
• Familiarity with seed-to-sale tracking systems.
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations. Competency

• Frequent exposure to high heat, humidity, noise, bright lights where eye protection is required.

• Occasional exposure to temperature changes, atmospheric conditions, and vibration.
