Bonita Bay Community Association We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge if irrigation systems for large properties and a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to build, install, and maintain irrigation systems efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools to ensure optimal irrigation for all landscaped beds throughout property. The ideal technician will be able to order parts for the department. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency. Troubleshoot issues related to irrigation systems, including leaks, clogs, and mechanical failures. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for digging, building, and maintaining irrigation setups. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall landscape care. Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation systems based on observed performance. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations or repairs. Order parts for the department. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely. Familiarity with garden care practices, including lawn care and plant watering needs. Ability to dig trenches and install irrigation lines as required by project specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work performed. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. A valid driver's license. The ability to work outside for extended periods in all Florida weather conditions. Willing to learn. Flexible.
