Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Farm/Nursery Worker and be at the heart of cultivating vibrant plants, caring for animals, and maintaining a thriving agricultural environment. Whether you're assisting with planting, animal husbandry, or equipment maintenance, your efforts will directly impact the health and growth of our farm and nursery operations. Responsibilities Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and harvesting crops in greenhouse or outdoor settings Care for animals by feeding, watering, cleaning enclosures, and monitoring health conditions Operate farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, irrigation systems, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools, equipment, and machinery; including welding and basic mechanical troubleshooting Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields and nursery areas Support greenhouse operations by transplanting seedlings, managing soil health, and maintaining environmental controls Handle heavy lifting tasks involving soil bags, plant containers, feed supplies, or animal materials using proper techniques and safety procedures Requirements Prior experience in farming or horticulture is highly desirable; familiarity with growing techniques is a plus Mechanical knowledge including basic equipment repair and maintenance skills Hands-on experience with animal husbandry and animal handling practices Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, heavy machinery such as forklifts and other farm equipment safely Knowledge of irrigation systems, greenhouse management, and crop cultivation methods Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions Basic math skills for measurements, inventory tracking or record keeping Supervising experience is beneficial for team coordination roles but not mandatory Valid certifications for forklift operation or farm machinery operation are advantageous Join us in creating a vibrant agricultural environment where your skills make a difference!
