Repair or replace damaged irrigation equipment, including valves, controllers, sensors, and sprinkler heads. Conduct system inspections for leaks, clogs, or malfunctions; perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Assist with excavation work for system installation or repairs using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Manage automated irrigation control systems to ensure proper scheduling and water conservation efforts. Collaborate with clients on landscaping projects to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly with overall landscape design. Maintain detailed records of work performed, system configurations, and repair histories for each client site. Provide excellent customer service by explaining system operations and maintenance tips to clients. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in irrigation system installation and repair projects. Strong understanding of irrigation management, maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment operation. Experience with electrical diagnostics related to irrigation controllers and sensors. Knowledge of soil science principles relevant to irrigation efficiency and plant health. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely for excavation and installation tasks. Familiarity with automated irrigation control systems and their programming. Experience working on landscaping projects that involve irrigation integration. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid certification as an Irrigation Technician or equivalent is required; ongoing training preferred.
