Bilingual Farm And Meat Processing Worker:
Assist with general farm and facility operations Assist with the humane handling and movement of livestock Assist with slaughter and animal processing operations as directed and trained Perform gutting, cleaning, trimming, cutting, and other meat processing tasks Handle and move meat and animal products throughout different stages of processing Clean and sanitize processing areas, floors, walls, equipment, tools, and workstations Remove waste and maintain clean and sanitary work areas Assist with washing down processing areas and equipment according to sanitation procedures Perform general labor duties such as lifting, moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials and supplies Assist with basic facility and equipment maintenance as needed Perform general groundskeeping and cleanup around the facility Follow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements Properly use tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies required for assigned tasks Follow instructions from supervisors and move between departments or job duties as operational needs change Perform other general farm, processing, sanitation, and maintenance duties as assigned Available shifts: Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day) & Weekends Job requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady Must be bilingual in Spanish Comfortable working in a farm, livestock, slaughter, and meat processing environment Willing and able to perform a variety of duties and rotate between work areas Able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods Able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift Comfortable working around raw meat, blood, animal products, strong odors, and processing operations Comfortable working in wet, hot, cold, and potentially noisy environments Able to follow sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures Able to wear required PPE Previous farm, slaughterhouse, meat processing, sanitation, production, general labor, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required Must be dependable and able to follow instructions and work as part of a team Ready to take control of the way you work?
