position October-May We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Plant Care/Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about working with plants and who has a keen eye for detail. The individual in this position will be responsible for ensuring our plants are healthy, well-maintained, and for providing excellent, professional customer service.

Please do not apply if you are not comfortable working outdoors. The nature of our business means that most of your day will be spent outside with our beautiful blooms and greenery! Duties Overseeing plant care, including proper watering, trimming, and ensuring all plants look their best for customers. Assisting with inventory, including flowers, plants, pots, and other supplies. Answering phones and assisting customers both in-person and over the phone. Caring for plants in multiple private club areas and client accounts. Performing miscellaneous duties as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience working with plants in a greenhouse, nursery, or garden center environment. Strong plant knowledge, including care requirements for various species. Ability to identify common plant pests and diseases and apply appropriate treatments. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow care routines and schedules. Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and move plants, supplies, and equipment as needed. Good communication skills to work with the team and assist customers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A horticulture-related background or certification is a plus but not required.
