Irrigation Technician - Experienced

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to work remotely and report directly to our residential properties, joining our landscape maintenance team. This role involves maintaining and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscape features. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, landscaping practices, and the use of various hand and power tools. Duties Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems using appropriate tools and techniques. . Perform routine maintenance on sprinkler heads, valves, pumps, and controllers. . Utilize hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment for system installation and repairs. . Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, and general horticulture practices. . Troubleshoot mechanical issues within irrigation systems and implement effective solutions Maintain detailed records of system inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. . Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience with irrigation systems, landscaping, or lawn care preferred Mechanical knowledge related to pumps, valves, controllers, and other irrigation components Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, excavators, and construction equipment Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and efficiently Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads as required Prior experience in landscaping or horticulture is a plus but not mandatory Valid driver's license is preferred for equipment transportation purposes This position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor work and landscape maintenance who want to develop their skills in irrigation technology and landscape care.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
