Overview Join our dynamic team as an Irrigation Specialist / Irrigation Technician and become a vital part of creating lush, healthy landscapes through expert irrigation management. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water efficiency and landscape health. Your technical expertise and customer service skills will help clients achieve vibrant outdoor spaces while promoting sustainable watering practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative irrigation projects and develop your skills in landscape irrigation technology. Duties Install new irrigation systems, including automated control units, sprinkler heads, valves, and related equipment, ensuring precise setup and adherence to project specifications Perform routine maintenance on existing irrigation systems to optimize performance and prevent breakdowns Troubleshoot system issues using electrical diagnostics, system troubleshooting techniques, and mechanical knowledge to identify faults quickly Repair irrigation equipment and system components efficiently, including replacing faulty parts or performing system upgrades Conduct excavation work for system installation or repair projects while adhering to safety standards Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into outdoor designs Educate clients on irrigation management best practices, soil science considerations, and efficient water use strategies Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working with irrigation equipment, hand tools, and power tools Proven experience with new irrigation system installation projects and ongoing maintenance tasks Knowledge of automated irrigation control systems and their programming for optimal operation Ability to diagnose electrical issues within complex irrigation systems and perform effective repairs Familiarity with landscaping principles, soil science, lawn care, and overall landscape management Experience with excavation techniques necessary for underground pipework and system installation or repairs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on system troubleshooting and repair projects Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions Join us in delivering exceptional landscape solutions by combining your technical expertise with a passion for sustainable irrigation practices.
