Full Job Description Essential Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair Toro controllers, valves, and heads including Toro 800 series, Toro infinity heads, and pop-up rotors. Diagnose and repair electrical/low-voltage issues, solenoids, wire faults, foot valves, and pilot valves. Supplement the assistants with daily data, monitoring, and hand watering needs on greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and newly installed plant material. Conduct inspections of heads, nozzles, pressure regulation, and perform preventative maintenance. Maintain and report irrigation inventory. Other tasks could include course set up, walk mowing, edging of drains, valves and heads, and operating heavy machinery such as triplexes, fairway mowers, top dressers, and loaders. Work closely with superintendent and assistants when needed for fertilizer applications.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years' experience with golf course irrigation systems, hands on experience with Toro systems strongly preferred. Proficient in controller diagnostics and troubleshooting on Toro systems. Ability to read irrigation plans and schematics Valid driver's license; ability to operate both course vehicles ranging from light to heavy equipment. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors for long periods, and perform manual labor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Toro-specific irrigation training Turfgrass or agronomy background and familiarity with course maintenance operations. Heavy equipment operation experience.

Full-time employment with schedules that change depending on in season or summer maintenance practices Outdoor work in all weather.
