Responsibilities Assist with daily animal husbandry tasks, including feeding, watering, and monitoring livestock health and behavior Operate and maintain farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform equipment repairs, welding, and routine maintenance to ensure all tools and machinery are in optimal condition Support crop growing activities by planting, watering, harvesting, and greenhouse management Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, fencing repairs, and general farm upkeep using hand tools and power tools Manage livestock handling procedures with care and adherence to safety standards in production and animal welfare Conduct safety inspections and follow protocols to ensure compliance with safety standards across all farm operations Skills Proven experience in farming, agriculture, or related outdoor work environments Supervising experience preferred for overseeing team tasks or farm projects Skilled in operating agricultural machinery including tractors, forklifts, power tools, and heavy equipment Knowledge of animal husbandry practices for livestock management and equine care Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of farm machinery Familiarity with safety standards in production environments to promote a secure workplace Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while managing heavy lifting requirements Experience with MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) activities on farm equipment Greenhouse experience and growing expertise for crop production support Basic math skills for inventory management and measurement tasks Strong outdoor work experience with an emphasis on safety and efficiency Join us to cultivate your skills in a lively environment where your hard work directly impacts our farm's success!
