Yellowstone Landscape is seeking an Irrigation Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial irrigation systems on high-profile landscape projects. Responsibilities include reading site plans, setting controllers and valves, repairing leaks, adjusting heads, and optimizing water use for plant health and sustainability. You'll work outdoors on construction and maintenance crews, operate hand and power tools, and follow strict safety standards. Responsibilities Install and maintain commercial irrigation systems on landscape projects Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and irrigation layouts Diagnose and repair leaks, broken heads, valves, and lines Program, set, and adjust irrigation controllers and schedules Monitor system performance to optimize water efficiency and plant health Operate hand tools and power equipment safely in outdoor environments Perform seasonal start-ups, shutdowns, and system winterization where applicable Inspect sites and report issues, materials needs, and repair status Follow company and OSHA safety procedures and use required PPECollaborate with landscape construction and maintenance crews to meet project deadlines Required Skills Irrigation system installation Irrigation troubleshooting and repair Reading site plans and blueprints Controller programming and scheduling PVC and poly pipe cutting and fitting Valve and head layout and adjustment Use of irrigation-specific tools and equipment Basic electrical knowledge for low-voltage irrigation Water management and system optimization Construction site safety practices
