  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Irrigation Specialist to join Watters & Associates Landscape.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting irrigation systems across various outdoor spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, apply your technical skills, and contribute to beautiful, thriving landscapes. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as trenchers when necessary. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs. Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal changes, weather conditions, and landscape needs to optimize water efficiency. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure irrigation systems support overall lawn care. Troubleshoot complex issues related to irrigation hardware and control systems with mechanical knowledge and technical expertise. Maintain detailed records of system installations, repairs, and inspections for ongoing system performance tracking. Assist in landscape projects by utilizing landscaping skills and construction knowledge to support site preparation and modifications. Experience Proven experience working with irrigation systems in landscaping or construction environments. Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, piping, valves, pumps, and control units. Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape maintenance routines, and horticultural principles. Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, skid steers, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics related to irrigation layouts and landscape plans. Prior experience working outdoors in diverse weather conditions with a focus on safety and precision. .
