Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our harvest team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for weighing inbound and outbound grain trucks using a computerized scale, accurately entering customer information, and issuing scale tickets at one of our six grain elevators. Experience with bookkeeping and customer service is preferred. Responsibilities Operate the electronic scale, grain probe, and moisture tester Enter customer and grain quality data into the ERP system Print scale tickets Maintain copies of tickets for customer and company records Provide customer service to farmers delivering grain Skills Familiarity with grain farming and/or grain elevator operations Ability to perform basic math calculations as needed Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise records Customer service mindset with effective communication skills
