In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient harvesting of crops, ensuring the safe operation of farm machinery, and maintaining high standards of animal care and farm safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in farming operations, machinery maintenance, and livestock management.

GRAIN DRILL OPERATOR

What You'll Do American Staffing is looking for an experienced Grain Drill Operator to assist with seasonal agricultural operations. This position is responsible for operating a grain drill to accurately and efficiently plant grain crops. Responsibilities Operate and monitor a grain drill and related agricultural equipment. Plant grain according to field and planting requirements. Monitor seed levels and equipment performance. Make basic equipment adjustments as needed. Inspect equipment before and during operation. Follow safe operating practices and company procedures. Work independently while following directions from farm management. What We're Looking For Previous farm equipment operating experience preferred. Grain drill experience is a plus. Valid driver's license preferred/required as applicable.

WINDROWER OPERATOR

What You'll Do American Staffing is looking for a Windrower Operator to assist with seasonal potato harvest operations. The Windrower Operator operates specialized equipment used to dig potatoes from the ground and place them into rows for the harvesting process. Responsibilities Operate and monitor windrower equipment in potato fields. Dig potatoes from the soil and place them into organized rows/windrows. Adjust equipment as needed based on field and crop conditions. Inspect equipment before and during use.

POTATO HARVESTER OPERATOR

What You'll Do American Staffing is looking for a Potato Harvester Operator to assist with seasonal potato harvest operations. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring harvesting equipment while working as part of a team to efficiently collect potatoes from the field. Responsibilities Operate and monitor potato harvesting equipment. Monitor the flow of potatoes through the harvesting equipment. Make basic equipment adjustments as needed.` Monitor crop and field conditions during harvesting. Inspect equipment before and during operation. What We're Looking For Previous agricultural equipment operating experience preferred. Potato harvesting experience is a plus. Ability to safely operate large agricultural equipment. Mechanical aptitude preferred.

Pay:

$17.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
