Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in irrigation systems, lawn care, and landscape maintenance. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for various landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with clients to assess their needs and provide effective solutions for their irrigation requirements. Responsibilities Install and maintain irrigation systems, including drip lines, sprinkler systems, and pumps. Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks. Operate excavators and other machinery as needed for trenching and system installation. Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure cohesive project execution. Provide recommendations to clients regarding irrigation efficiency and water conservation practices. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including system installations and repairs. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscape maintenance. Experience in lawn care practices and horticulture is preferred. Familiarity with landscaping techniques and principles is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment is essential. Previous experience in construction or related fields will be beneficial.
