This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a hands-on environment, assisting with the daily care and maintenance of bee colonies. You will gain valuable experience in apiculture while contributing to environmental conservation and agricultural productivity. YOU WILL ALSO WORK MAINLY LEARNING HOW TO REMOVE BEE AND WASP NESTS ALONG WITH CARPENTRY AND CONSTRUCTION.

Responsibilities Assist with the inspection, monitoring, and maintenance of bee hives to ensure optimal health and productivity Support hive management activities including feeding, cleaning, and pest control measures Operate equipment necessary for hive transportation and site maintenance Perform routine repairs on beekeeping equipment using hand tools, welding, or basic mechanical skills Handle and manage livestock associated with apiary operations, including ensuring proper animal husbandry practices Maintain detailed records of hive conditions, treatments, and production data in compliance with safety standards in production Assist with irrigation, greenhouse tasks, and general farm duties to support overall farm operations Qualifications Proven experience in farm work, agriculture, or animal husbandry; beekeeping experience is a plus but not required Supervising experience or ability to oversee team tasks safely and efficiently Knowledge of equipment like power and hand tools. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance; welding skills are advantageous Comfortable performing manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions Strong organizational skills with basic math proficiency for record keeping and measurements Experience working with animals such as livestock or equines is preferred but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding journey supporting sustainable agriculture while developing your skills in a lively environment.
