Job Summary We are seeking a grain cart operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor with a grain cart hauling grain in corn/soybean fields from the combine to semis to be hauled away during harvest. This role requires a combination of experience operating large agricultural equipment (primarily a large tractor), ability to follow directions, communicate well, adapt to changing plans, and show up on time. Duties Operate tractor during fall on a family farm located in Northern IL Follow directions and work as a team Complete daily machine maintenance and cleaning Communicate and show up on time Adapt to changing plans based on weather and other factors Requirements Experience operating large agricultural machinery Work 7 days/week during busy season (flexible during the rest of the year) CDL is a plus but not required Other information: Time off granted as long as discussed prior 60-80 hrs/week during busy harvest season
