Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Farm Truck Driver and become a vital part of our agricultural operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting farm products, equipment, and supplies across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will help keep our farm operations running smoothly. Duties Operate tractor-trailers and flatbed trucks to transport farm goods, equipment, and hazardous materials in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Safely load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper cargo securing for over-the-road (OTR) routes Navigate using GPS systems to adhere to designated routes efficiently and accurately Transport refrigerated trailers, tankers, or specialized equipment as needed for farm operations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery records in accordance with regulatory requirements Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate route schedules, delivery times, and route adjustments Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving in various terrains Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods transportation Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with precision and control Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and automobile transportation equipment Ability to handle freight logistics cargo handling efficiently during truck loading and unloading processes Strong navigation skills utilizing GPS navigation systems for over-the-road routes Excellent driving record with a focus on safety, compliance, and professionalism Join us as a Farm Truck Driver to bring energy and expertise to our agricultural logistics!
