Job Description
We are seeking to hire a reliable, conscientious stable hand for part-time employment. The work involves turning out and bringing horses in from pasture, feeding and watering, and cleaning stalls. Successful applicants will have basic experience handling horses and enjoy working in a farm environment. Must have own, reliable transportation and a valid drivers license. Experience handling a variety of farm tools and driving a tractor is a plus. Applicants must be physically capable of bending, stooping, walking, and heavy lifting. Hours are mornings, typically 2-3 days per week, about 3 hours per day. We provide on-the-job training. Pay depends on experience and starts at $14.00 per hour.
