Job Description

Farm & Ranch Hand - Werth Cattle Co LLC Werth Cattle Co LLC is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our operation as a full-time Farm & Ranch Hand. This position includes a variety of responsibilities involving cattle care, farming, mechanical work, property maintenance, and general ranch duties. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, responsible, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently as well as with others. Diesel mechanic knowledge or experience is strongly preferred, as maintaining and troubleshooting tractors, trucks, and other farm equipment will be an important part of the position. Primary duties may include feeding and caring for cattle, assisting during calving season, checking livestock, maintaining fences and facilities, operating tractors and farm equipment, haying, planting, spraying, equipment maintenance and repair, and other general farm and ranch responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
College degree in an agriculture-related field or completion of a diesel technology program preferred, or equivalent experience in farm and ranch operations or diesel mechanics Diesel mechanic knowledge or experience strongly preferred Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take responsibility Able to work independently and as part of a team This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40-50 hours per week. Some weekend work will be required depending on livestock needs, weather, calving season, and other responsibilities. Hours may vary throughout the year. Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications. Werth Cattle Co LLC is looking for someone interested in becoming a dependable, long-term part of the operation.
