The seasonal agricultural worker will prepare fields for planting; attach and operate tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery; perform planting, cultivating, spraying, fertilizing, and harvesting activities; load, unload, and transport crops, feed, supplies, and agricultural materials using trucks, augers, conveyors, forklifts, and other equipment; drive farm semi-trucks to haul crops and supplies; operate and adjust agricultural equipment; install, maintain, and perform routine repairs on irrigation systems, machinery, equipment, fences, pens, and buildings; record agricultural data; feed and water livestock; monitor animal health and administer medications and vaccinations as directed; assist with breeding, artificial insemination, and births; groom and otherwise care for livestock; herd, sort, identify, and move livestock between pastures, facilities, scales, and trucks; clean livestock facilities and equipment; and maintain livestock production, feeding, operational, and inventory records. Family housing not available. Housing will be clean & meet applicable Fed, State &local housing standards. Workers must maintain neat & clean housing. Housing/utilities are provided at no cost to workers who are unable to return to place of residence the same day. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
