A Farm, Nursery, or Greenhouse Worker propagates, cultivates and harvests plants, primarily flowers, trees, shrubs and sod, and other crops such as mushrooms that are grown in greenhouses, or grows and harvests farm crops such as grain, fruit or vegetables. Operates and maintains equipment used to grow and harvest plants and crops. Cares for animals including dairy cows or chickens, pigs or other animals raised for meat.

Job Description
We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production season. Must be able to operate tractors to cultivate, plant, fertilizer and harvest crops. Must be able to operate a combine, tractor and grain cart and drive a semi-truck and trailer to get crops from field to elevators/storage bins. Must be able to complete daily maintenance of irrigation systems including engines to pump water. Center pivot sprinkler system knowledge to operate and repair sprinklers. Must be able to do routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, combines, tractors, sprayers, pickups and other farm equipment. Must have experience spraying crops and operating a sprayer. No commercial or heavy truck driving is required. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season's rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
