We have multiple locations across Central Kentucky that serve a variety of purposes from housing our stallions, to the breeding farms where mares and foals reside, and the yearling farms. As a full-time groom, you will be an integral part of our team. This role is responsible for the daily care of our stallions at Jonabell Farm in Lexington, KY. We seek a passionate, reliable, and hard-working person whose love and admiration for horses are as great as ours. You must have a positive attitude, a good work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Waters and feeds stallions and provide feed supplements according to feed instructions Wash, brush, and trim coats to clean and improve appearance of stallion Inspects animals for disease, illness, and injury and treats animals according to instruction Clean stalls and replenish bedding Role requires evening attendance in breeding shed throughout breeding season as needed

Desired Skills:

Experienced horse handling skills. General understanding of horse health and welfare requirements. Good communication skills and ability to follow directions from supervisors. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
