This role involves various tasks to ensure optimal growth, health and yield of plants, as well as adherence to industry regulations and quality standards. The ideal Cannabis Cultivation Technician I should be at least 21 years old and adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
Monitor and preserve the health of cannabis plants including cloning, transplanting, pinching, trimming and harvesting plants Maintain mother plants and propagation areas Manage the growing environment including temperature, humidity and light to optimize plant growth Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Fertilization of plants Maintain detailed records of plants through tracking software Ensure all indoor and greenhouse cultivation areas are thoroughly cleaned and well maintained Trimming, weighing and filling all flower related products De-budding plant material from dry rooms Tracking flower and finished products through Metrc software Cleaning all post-harvest areas (Drying closets, cure room, or trim area.) Performing any and all post-harvest related tasks Strictly adhere to all biosecurity protocols and State regulations Other duties as assigned by company leadership
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance Must be 21 years of age and ability to pass State required background qualifications
