Job Responsibilities:

Maintains Cityscapes standards with product quality, accuracy, professional presentation and service at all times Ensures consistent Cityscapes quality, while minimizing plant replacements Responsible for keeping an accurate log of account maintenance hours Waters all plants appropriately using hose hookups or water tank vehicles Ensures all plants are pruned appropriately, removing discolored leaves and spent flowers Notifies manager or design executive of any damaged or vandalized plants & containers During seasonal slow periods, supports the Installation & Operations team by staging, transporting, and installing interior plants, containers, and related materials at client sites, including safely performing heavy lifting and other physically demanding installation work. Communicates with manager and design executive if there is an issue on an account Responsible for upkeep and placement of tools and equipment Actively attends regular Exterior Team meetings Checks and treats all pest issues in compliance with Cityscapes policies Removes all trash and debris from planters, beds, and containers Seeks and makes suggestions for improvements where needed including plant changes, fertilization, etc. Responsible for quality execution of all work orders Reports to Exterior Maintenance Manager Asks manager or design executive for clarification when questions arise Responsible for Cityscape vehicles being operated and used appropriately Conducts self in a professional manner Keeps a pleasant or positive attitude Keeps trucks clean each day; disposes of trash or recycling appropriately Any additional special projects as needed

Essential Skills and Experience:

Thorough knowledge of plant installations, maintenance and ongoing needs of plant species Must possess a high degree of organizational skills and professionalism Team-oriented and possesses the ability to work collaboratively with the operations department, exterior department, sales/client representatives, and office staff. Proficient verbal and interpersonal skills Effective communication and follow through a must!

Working Conditions:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; standing for long periods of time; stretching, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Medium to heavy physical requirements. Strong ability to absorb and retain information, including processes and workflows Excellent communication skills, both in listening and speaking Ability to clearly share ideas and information with others Proven ability to stay focused and manage tasks with minimal distraction

Pay:

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
