Job Description

RSU#23 Old Orchard Beach Loranger Memorial School Special Education Ed Tech II or III Full time, 2026-27 School Year Located a mile from the Atlantic Ocean and 15 minutes from Portland, Loranger Memorial School is a grades 3-8 school, seeking candidates for an Educational Technician II or III position to support students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings. The successful candidates should possess the following:

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Valid Maine DOE Educational Technician II or III Authorization certification Valid Maine DOE Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)

QUALIFICATIONS

Possess strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Interest in supporting students with various learning styles and needs Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of technology Willingness to participate in ongoing in-service training Interest in participating in the school community outside of the classroom The Educational Technician position is a district wide position. Initial placement for this opening is at Loranger Memorial School.
