Harbor Farmz is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Propagation, Mother & Vegetative Lead to oversee all aspects of our propagation, mother plant, and vegetative departments. This is a leadership position for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives on organization, and understands the importance of consistency. The right candidate will take ownership of their department, maintain the highest cultivation standards, and ensure every plant is healthy and production-ready. This is not an entry-level position. Previous commercial cannabis cultivation experience with propagation, mother plants, and vegetative production is required. Responsibilities Manage all propagation, mother plant, and vegetative operations. Maintain healthy, productive mother plants capable of producing high-quality clones. Produce healthy, vigorous, and uniform plants that are ready for flower according to production schedules. Follow all Harbor Farmz Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) without exception. Perform routine mother plant maintenance including pruning, topping, shaping, sanitation, and overall plant health management. Monitor irrigation, environmental conditions, and plant health daily. Identify and correct nutrient, irrigation, environmental, and pest issues before they impact production. Coordinate clone production, hardening-off, transplant schedules, and vegetative growth timelines. Maintain accurate plant labeling, inventory, and required documentation. Keep all propagation, mother, and vegetative areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready. Communicate any equipment failures, production concerns, or plant health issues immediately. Train and hold team members accountable to Harbor Farmz standards. Work closely with the Director of Cultivation and Cultivation Lead to meet production goals. Is highly organized and extremely detail-oriented. Can prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining quality. Works independently with little to no supervision.
